1. Who we are
LocalBooked is run by Narto ApS, a Danish company with registration number (CVR) 46813227, Lynghusene 26, 4571 Grevinge, Denmark. We build websites and lead systems for local service businesses.
We decide how the personal information described in this policy is used. The exception is section 8, where we work on behalf of our customers.
Questions and requests go to [email protected].
2. The short version
- We collect business contact details so we can offer our service, hold calls and serve our customers.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- localbooked.co has no analytics and no advertising pixels, and sets no cookies of its own.
- We may record calls, and we tell you first.
- If you are in touch with a business that uses LocalBooked, that business decides how your details are used. Reply STOP to stop its texts.
- You can ask what we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, or tell us to stop contacting you. Write to [email protected].
3. If you visit localbooked.co
- This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels and no contact form, and it sets no cookies of its own.
- If you open the home page, your browser keeps one small note so the short opening animation only plays on your first visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and time of the visit, to keep the site running and secure. It also adds a small script that hides email addresses from spam robots, and it may ask your browser to report pages that fail to load.
- The booking page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when the page opens. When the booking page shows a booking calendar, that calendar comes from GoHighLevel. It loads its own scripts, and may set its own cookies, when it opens.
4. If we emailed you first
What we have. Your business name, your name and role if they are public, business email address, phone number, address, website and public profiles, your trade, and public reviews and ratings.
Where it comes from. Public sources such as Google Maps, business websites, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Yelp, and business contact databases.
Why we use it. To offer our service to your business, and to prepare a draft website for it. We rely on our legitimate interest in offering services to other businesses.
Who sends the emails. We work with an outreach partner that finds business contacts and sends emails on our behalf. Some replies to your emails are written by AI software. If you ask whether you are writing with a person or with software, we tell you.
How to stop it. Reply to any email, or write to [email protected], and we stop. We keep your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we do not write to you again.
The draft website. If we build a draft website for your business, it is built from the same public information. We take it down if you ask.
5. If you book a call
What you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name, city and state, and any links you add, such as your website, Google listing or Facebook page.
How it is handled. The calendar is provided by GoHighLevel. The booking also appears in our own calendar, and the call happens on Zoom.
Why we use it. To build your draft website before the call, to hold the call, and to follow up with you afterwards. We may call or text the number you gave us about the call (section 7). We do this to take steps at your request before a possible agreement.
Recording. We may record and transcribe the call with a note-taking service. We tell you at the start of the call, and you can say no. We use recordings and transcripts to keep notes, to make the changes you ask for, and to get better at our calls.
6. If you become a customer
What we have. Your contact and business details, the material you give us for the website, our messages with you by email and in the shared channel we set up, recordings and notes from our calls, and reports about your website and your system.
Carrier registration. On Booked and Fully Booked, we collect your business's legal name, its EIN if it has one, its address, and the name, mobile number and email address of a contact person. We give these details to our phone provider and to the US carriers' registration system, so that your business can send texts. We never ask for a Social Security number.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We see your name, email address, billing country, the card type and its last four digits, and whether a payment went through.
Access to your domain. We do not ask for your passwords. Access is given through an invitation or delegated access from your domain provider.
Why we use it. To deliver the service under our terms at localbooked.co/terms, to bill you, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
7. Text messages from LocalBooked
If you give us your mobile number, for example when you book a call, call us or become a customer, we may text you about your booking, reminders before our call, replies to your calls and messages, and your service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also write to [email protected].
Our phone and messaging providers handle your number only to deliver the messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
8. People who are in touch with our customers
When you are in touch with a business that uses LocalBooked, your details go to that business. That happens when you fill in a form on its website, call or text its local number, write in the chat on its website, or get a review request or a follow-up from it. We handle your details on that business's behalf: we deliver your inquiry or message to the business, store it in that business's customer list, send the texts and emails the business has set up, filter spam, and report to the business.
- The chat on these websites is an automated AI assistant. What you write in it is stored and sent to the business.
- Texts from these businesses come from the local number set up for that business. Reply STOP to that number and you stop receiving texts from it. This happens automatically.
- Calls to the local number are forwarded to the business. They are not recorded unless the business has asked for recording, and then the business is responsible for telling you.
- Visits to these websites are counted with a statistics service that does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
The business is responsible for how your details are used. Contact that business with questions or requests. If you write to us instead, we pass your request on to it.
9. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with others for their advertising. We use these companies to run our business, and they handle information for us:
| Company | What for |
|---|---|

| Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI | AI software for building websites, writing, and working through notes |
| Our outreach partner and its data and email tools | Finding business contacts and sending emails |
We also share information with our accountant, and with authorities when the law requires it. If LocalBooked is transferred to another company or sold, the information moves with it and stays covered by this policy.
10. Where information is processed
We are based in Denmark. Several of the companies above are in the United States, so information is processed both in the European Union and in the United States. When information about people in Europe is sent outside Europe, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified, and otherwise by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
11. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Contacts we emailed | For as long as we use them to offer our service. We remove you when you ask |
| Do-not-contact list | Until you ask us to remove you from it |
| Booking details | For as long as we are in contact about a website. We delete them when you ask |
| Call recordings and transcripts | For as long as we need them for notes and for the service. We delete them when you ask |
| Customer details and messages | While you are a customer, and after that for as long as we need them to handle questions and claims |
| Carrier registration details | While the customer's texting number is registered, and after that for as long as carriers or the law require |
| Invoices and payment records | 5 years after the end of the financial year, as Danish accounting law requires |
| Information we handle for our customers (section 8) | While the customer's subscription runs. Deleted within 60 days after it ends, as our Data Processing Addendum describes |
| Server logs | A short period set by the hosting company |
We delete information sooner if you ask and we have no legal reason to keep it.
12. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we have about you and give you a copy,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop contacting you.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, and it costs nothing. We may ask for something that shows the request comes from you. Someone you have authorized in writing can make the request for you.
If European data protection law applies to you, you can also ask us to limit how we use your information, object to our use of it, ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere, and withdraw a consent you have given. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or to the authority in your own country.
If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, we give you the same rights as above, and we do not treat you differently for using them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. If we turn down a request, you can ask us to look at it again by replying to our answer.
13. AI software
We use AI software to build websites, to write some emails and replies, and to summarize calls. The chat on our customers' websites is AI software, and it tells you so. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
14. Security
We limit access to the information to the people who need it, we use accounts protected by passwords and two-step sign-in where it is available, and we use established providers. No system is completely secure. If something happens that puts your information at risk, we tell you when the law requires it.
15. Children
Our service is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.
16. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for our customers, we tell them by email.
